BIO

Trevor Francis, Creative Director of Gloss, graduated from Sheridan College’s Media Arts program, majoring in film and digital video production.

First expressing his love for storytelling in his high school media class, Trevor began producing his own short films. Finding his true calling in directing, a few of his College films won the attention of MuchMusic’s Creative Director, who brought Trevor on as a junior producer.

Trevor’s nine year tenure in Much’s Creative Department led him to the role of Senior Writer Producer & Director where he implemented and oversaw Creative for the network’s top priorities including brand partnerships with chief clients and directing show elements for the nation’s biggest televised party, the MMVAs. He was personally responsible for many of MuchMusic’s most recognized image and branding strategies over the past decade.

Since leaving MuchMusic over two years ago, Trevor has gone on to start his own very successful company – Gloss – through which he has provided creative for The Hudson’s Bay Company, Gap Adventures, The Food Network, HGTV US, YTV, Contiki Tours, Discovery Channel, and CityTV, to name a few.

Working as closely with his client partners as his team, Trevor has learned a dynamic that best insures the freest expression, while holding true to the mold of each individual brand.

Trevor’s work has gone on to win several gold international Promax and BDA awards, and while he’s proud of his accomplishments, he’s not content. His intense passion for the art-form keeps him looking for new opportunities for learning and the challenge of producing the next award-winning project.
